Art Inspired by Somerset and Beyond!

Hello! I’m an artist based in the beautiful county of Somerset. With the Mendip Hills rising to the north and the Somerset Levels stretching out around me, I’m surrounded by landscapes that constantly inspire my work. I also draw creative energy from my travels and adventures, where new places and experiences spark fresh ideas.

By day, I work in IT — a world of structure, logic, and problem-solving. But art has always been my true hobby and passion. Picking up a paintbrush or coloured pencil at the end of the day feels like stepping into a different rhythm: one that lets me slow down, observe, and connect with the world in a more personal way.

I work mainly with watercolour and coloured pencils, often mixing in other media to build depth and character. My subjects range from landscapes and buildings to animals, wildlife, and anything else that captures my imagination. I love exploring the details that give a scene or creature its personality.

Through my art, I hope to share the beauty I see — whether it’s in the quiet moments close to home or the discoveries made on my travels.
